Experiences of Parents of Students with Learning Disabilities in Elementary Schools in Lordegan, Iran, in 2020

Background and Objective: Children's learning has always been regarded as an important issue that determines the educational destiny of children in future can confuse teachers parents. Therefore, this study aimed to explain experiences parents students with disabilities elementary schools Lordegan, Iran, 2020. Materials Methods: This qualitative was conducted using a phenomenological approach. The sample included mothers Lordegan who were selected convenience sampling method. unstructured in-depth interviews on 12 until information saturation stage reached. data analyzed Colaizzi's method identification main sub-concepts. Results: number participants (three men nine females) they age range 27-83 years. One widow rest married. initial code 1027 obtained after Interviews form 10 concepts parental loneliness five sub-concepts, mental imbalance aggression six feelings failure depression involvement follow-up effort disability 17 financial problems lack cooperation respective institutions community support seven physical child eight concern for teacher influence two Conclusion: Based results, feel lonely, their balance is disturbed, become aggressive broken depressed. In regard, parents' participation persistence, efforts, economic problems, responsible are quite obvious. need various supports from society system, necessity all around these families inevitable reality should not be ignored.
